Neal Goswami joined the Vermont Press Bureau in September 2013 as a reporter. He became the bureau chief at the start of 2014 and leads the bureau’s political and legislative coverage.
Neal had previously worked for 7 years at the Bennington Banner, covering local and state politics and government, serving as the senior staff writer and social media editor.
Neal is a political junkie, an avid Red Sox fan and enjoys golfing and fishing in the warmer months. In the winter he prefers to spend his spare time on the slopes. He also enjoys imbibing Vermont’s craft brews at Montpelier establishments.
Neal lives in Montpelier but remains loyal to southern Vermont where he grew up.
